Harald Ott, Gartner Extrusion Gundelfingen:
"..the most doubts we had with the handling of the saw blade. Meanwhile we mounted a 500 blade and up to now we never had any problems with the saw cuts."

We often machine solid, long profiles and use therefore measuring cycles. In PUMA-System® we measure edges and surfaces and do machinings with reference to theses measuring points.
The machining out of a bar it often happens that we have to machine also the side below. We do not use an angle head; it is even better to cut the bar in piece, to turn the 3 or 4 components in order to machine the sides below from the top. With the help of the measuring functions we catch the new X positions of the sawed and turned components and continue immediately with the machining.
We take the decisive time advantage through the programming out of the bar. The PUMA-System® optimises the clamps and is responsible for the part stretching after sawing, so that the front side machinings can be executed.
The CAMäleon technicians have an unbelievable overview of the co-operation between programming software and machine movements. They offer quick and competent help. I think this fact was leading to the order of a further machine ..." |
